  • Brushing is one of the easiest ways to maintain a healthy smile. your brush should be at a 45 degree angle near the gum line. The gum line and tooth surface should both be in contact with the bristles and use a back and fourth, up and down motion twice per day.
  • Flossing can also help remove particles your toothbrush misses.
  • Smoking avoid Tobacco as this can also cause oral cancer and periodontal complications.
  • Avoid sugar, coffee and alcohol as this can also cause dental hygiene problems such as tooth decay and gum disease it can also make your teeth appear dull.
  • Drink lots of calcium an other vitamins. Your teeth need calcium just as your bones do.
  • Visit your dentist regularly. You should visit your dentist at least twice a year to have proper hygiene treatment.
  • You can buy a wide variety of mouthwashes, these can also be helpful because they help kill and maintain bacteria in your mouth.
  • Clean your tongue, clean the surface of your tongue daily, as it removes bacteria.
